The way that we think of charity is dead wrong.
Leaders at companies of all shapes and sizes understand that creating a culture of giving back is essential to their own bottom lines. According to America’s Charities, workplace giving is one of the most cost-effective ways to support charities, with approximately $4 billion being raised each year through workplace giving. And recent industry research by CECP found that companies that increased total giving by at least 10% between 2013 and 2015 saw increases in revenue and pre-tax profit, as opposed to all other companies, which actually saw decreases in both metrics.
Each year, America’s Charities releases a new report about the latest trends in workplace giving programs, based on extensive research around attitudes and perceptions. A partner of Causecast, America’s Charities has been at the forefront of employee giving since 1980, helping to raise more than $675 million for over 10,000 charities.
